I know, I know. This has been done to death, but I am seriously torn about this picture. I've always been a briefs man. Probably always will be, but this photo is giving me pause. I mean, on the one hand, boxers are loose and floppy and if you really look hard enough you may be able to see up the shorts or get a little surprise out the slit on the crotch. I guess you could say there's more potential for exposure which is always fun. But there's something about shapely briefs that just do everything for me. So I must ask, even though it's been asked before and oh so generic: boxers or briefs?

We're definitely feeling the heat here in NYC today, so why not continue with some incredibly hot and surprisingly stirring drawings by artist N.M. Rosario. That's his rendering of X-Men fave Beast, aka Hank McCoy, with Iceman. I've always been an X-Men fan, but Wolverine was always my favorite flavor of sexy mutant. Since seeing his version though has me reconsidering. He's got a whole series of drawings (and more of beefy Hank) over at his Deviant Art profile.

Whether you're into theater or not, there's no denying that Broadway is home to some of the hottest singers and dancers around. There have been plenty of times that I've found myself drifting away from the action and towards the chorus boys to choose my favorite. And the best part is they're usually gay! Actually, that's not the best part, the best part is that they're usually very bendy.

I guess I'll kick things off. Last year I said I was thankful to all of you for all your engaging comments and posts. This year, I'm still thankful for that, but would also like to add hope to the list. I know it might seem silly, and maybe a little corny, but given the times we live in, and the disproportionate number of moments when it seems like everything has gone or is going to shit, hope is an amazingly powerful and driving force. Just look at the It Gets Better project or all these amazing decade long love stories we keep hearing about. It's these wonderfully positive reminders that make me think the future really will be something to look forward too. And I'm grateful for that.

I don't know about all of you, but as we transition into Autumn and things start to slow down, I find myself a bit deeper in thought. Some of it's a reflection on the year gone by, but most of it is about what's to come. For some reason, Fall always seems like the perfect season to sit down, realign your thoughts, and reconnect with your goals.

So tell us dear members, what's on your mind?

And speaking of deep thoughts, we'll be discussing James Baldwin's Giovanni's Room later this week for our first ever Daddyhunt Book Club.
