Daddyhunt Profiles

Like the city itself, Atlanta’s gay population is spread over a large geographic area. Being one of the major metropolitan areas of the south, Atlanta draws a good number of gays both as residents and visitors. The highest concentration of gay life in Atlanta is in midtown. Atlanta’s midtown neighborhood draws in a lot of gay guys of all ages but is now experiencing an influx of office buildings and townhouses that are cutting into the gay vibe of the area. Inman Park was Atlanta’s first planned suburb and experience intense gentrification in the 70’s followed by an increase in gay culture surrounding it. It is now another area close to the city that is home to a lot of gay and gay-friendly bars, restaurants, and clubs.

Daddies can find a number of places all over the city to meet other Daddies and daddy-lovers. Woof's and Felix’s on the Square, both in midtown, attract older crowds and have daddy followings. Burkhart's Pub is a huge bar with four floors that draws in a lot of older guys. It is another good place to find other Daddies as well as Hunters.

There are a number of bars in Atlanta where Hunters can find Daddies as well. New Order is a hangout where a lot of younger guys meet Daddies. Blake's is one more club that invites guys of all ages.

Bars such as Atlanta Eagle in midtown accommodate more mature guys and Bears. Model T is another bar that many guys go to, but the usuals tend to be grayer than other crowds.

Atlanta holds its Pride festival in the fall unlike many other US cities so you just when you think Pride season is over, there’s Atlanta!:
