Despite not having a very well known gay community, Charlotte’s gay scene has been steadily increasing in popularity and activity in the past decade. Mainly a banking city, Charlotte is a full of businessmen on business trips as well as the local Southern crowd. There is no specific gay neighborhood in the city, but there are a smattering of gay and gay-friendly establishment throughout the city.
Although there are only a few all-gay bars in the city, some of them attract more Daddies than others. The Closet is another place that draws big crowds that have a mix of Daddies looking for Hunters and vice versa. You may have sworn to never go back in The Closet, but we suggest you give it a try. Faces Night Club has a large local following of any type of guy you can imagine that go to dance the night away.
As far as bars that cater to Bears in Charlotte, Woodshed Lounge has a more rugged crowd as well as the boys who like them. A popular cruise bar, this place becomes increasingly frisky as the night goes on.
