Set apart from the lively gay communities of other California cities, Fresno’s small and laid-back gay community holds it own. The Meet in the Middle rally took place here, and the community is active and outspoken. The few gay bars that are in the city are scattered, but a group of them exist in the downtown area. The Tower District is the headquarters for the gay community in the city.

Even though there are relatively few gay bars in Fresno, every gay guy will find what they want in the city. Daddies should hit up spots like the Red Lantern, which generally attracts the older guys. A few Hunters and Bears also show up at this bar, which is the oldest in the city. The Express is popular among all the gay guys in Fresno, and it shouldn’t be hard to find a guy to take home here.

For the younger gays in Fresno, a few bars offer a place to let loose. Club Legends is a popular dance spot for younger gays and lesbians in the area and Hunters should have a good time hunting here. North Tower Circle is another club that draws in the younger guys of the city.

The Den is a bar that attracts the more rugged guys in the city. Bears and leather Daddies alike frequent this Fresno hotspot that has a tougher following.
