Gay Dating in San Francisco

San Francisco has long been associated with gay life and culture. As one of the most gay-friendly cities in the world, San Francisco attracts gays of all types. Gay culture is integrated into the entire city, not just the neighborhoods that are typically viewed as gay. The Castro is the city’s gay hub as the highest concentration of gay related life is centered here. Although the Castro has the highest number gay attractions in the city, many of the surrounding neighborhoods are also home to many gay guys or gay attractions.

The sheer number of gay bars in San Francisco gives plenty of opportunity for every type of guy to find what they want. The Edge and Twin Peaks both offer places to get acquainted with other guys. Moby Dick's is another place to get a drink and Daddy’s, both located in the Castro, is a good place to meet, obviously, Daddies.

Hunters looking for a Daddy or other guys their age will also be at home in San Francisco. Badlands and The Cafe are dance bars frequented by a younger crowd. Q Bar offers space for guys of all ages to get to know each other better.

Bears also have a wide selection of bars that draw similar crowds in San Francisco. The Lone Star Saloon is a popular haunt for Bears and Daddies as well. 440 Castro also draws a more mature crowd with a leather emphasis.
