Daddyhunt CEO Featured in the Huffington Post

Our excitement for the MISTER app just keeps growing with every passing download and we just want to shout it from the rooftops. Or in this case, the Huffington Post. Check out this great article Daddyhunt CEO and MISTER founder, Carl Sandler wrote on the current state of things in the mobile dating arena. He discusses the rampant ageism and disrespect that currently fuels so many apps and explains why the MISTER app was created to circumvent that kind of behavior.

He makes some really good points, many of which you'll no doubt have some thoughts on. So go ahead and start the convo in the comments below.

We don't know if you've heard but International Mister Leather is this weekend. What's that? You don't have anything to wear? Well fear not, fellow leather lover, we're here to help. While you may not have the time to put together an elaborate outfit of straps, snaps, and zippers, there are plenty of simple leather wear options out there that can pack one hell of a sexy punch. Just grab a pair of your darkest jeans, and add any one or combination of the following accessories for a quick and effective leather ensemble.

1. Leather Cuff/Arm Band

These accent items are a quick fix and can make your arms sexy and jacked. Just remember, it matters what side you wear it on: left arm means top, and right means bottom.

2. Suspenders

These have grown in popularity over the past few years, namely because their a hot look with or without a shirt. If you can't find them in leather, a simple black pair will do in a pinch. Just watch your nipples for the inevitable snap back from passer-bys.

3. Collar

If you're feeling submissive, leather collars are a great way to broadcast just how much you want to be dominated. Even better, if you're a dog owner, you may already have one lying around the house.

4. Leather Hat

Take note: it takes a highly qualified Daddy to pull of this look. But when done right, the boys come flocking, ready to live out their Tom of Finland fantasies.

5. Leather Vest

Same as above. The simpler the better.

6. Leather Pants/Chaps

If you've...

Be sure to stop by and show off!

Even better, we're on the hunt for more MISTER models, so they'll be plenty of eye candy hanging round these parts. We'll post the best pics on Facebook and the 5 contestants that get the most FB 'likes' and comments will be the finalists. I love giving head. Next to eating burritos and snuggling, it's probably one of my favorite things to do. But you know what? I'm not a huge fan of getting head. They're fine, and I've had a few really good ones, but it's just one of those things that doesn't do it for me. In the heat of the moment they can add to the fun of flipping and flopping power, but I guess I always want them to be more exciting then they are. Am I alone in this?

If I'm not alone in this, and you're not into it either, then where does that leave the ones who like to go down? I guess it's the same problem we run into if everyone is a bottom. In an ideal world we'd all be 100% versatile (just think about how much more we narrow the dating pool by not being positionally compatible). It always seems like getting head is the considered one of the greatest things in the world. Straight culture especially seems to laud the act with the highest of praise, but I can't help but wonder if I'm missing something.

Can we talk BJs? Let us know what you prefer, how you prefer it, and if sexual compatability has been an obstacle for you before.

At a certain point, watching two men have sex gets boring. Porn gets boring. I've always needed some sort of plot or setup or uniform to fully engage with porn, but lately I feel like it's just the same thing over and over again. It's an ongoing conversation with some of my friends that there's nothing really that exciting out there anymore. I've veered into some different territories (some scarier than others) in an attempt to reignite the fire within, but I may have blown one too many loads and now find myself immune to porn's once beloved charms. I still scour the internet in search of something great, and I'm hopeful that the future of porn brings me back into the fold, but so far I've only found a few glimmers of hope.

One of those glimmers being (the link is wonderfully NSFW guys!). One of my friends introduced me to this site a few weeks ago, and it's prospects are exciting. We were both lamenting that visually porn has become a little stale and we were surprised that the industry hadn't adopted any of the new camera tech into the fold. HD is pretty common amongst most of the major sites like RandyBlue, and Dominic Ford does 3D, but I don't think I've ever seen anything as crisp, clear, or detailed as what Man Royale is shooting with. (And they shoot a lot). The difference in how they shoot is noticeable and they seem to be pros at lighting and setting up beautiful shots. It's a little more artful than what we're used to be, but there's an intimacy to what they're...

This week has been a real roller coaster for our community. First the Vice President comes out in support for gay marriage. YAY! Then a motivated and hateful group of voters passed Amendment 1, banning gay marriage in North Carolina. BOOOOO! And shortly after, we get word that the Colorado GOP killed the civil unions bill that seemed like it was on it's way to passing. HISS! But then something surprising happened. We gays were rightfully outraged and vocal, but there was an outpouring of straight supporters who were equally enraged by North Carolina and Colorado's actions. And then, everything changed. The President of the United States of America, the one who's views on gay marriage were said to be "evolving," did the right thing. He came out in support of gay marriage. BOOM.

Cynics will say that it's a political calculation. That we shouldn't be pawns in a political game. That words are great but actions are better. And while that's true, can we take a minute to just revel in the fact that the highest ranking...

While the President's thoughts on gay marriage are still "evolving," we just got one huge endorsement from Vice President Biden. Over the weekend, Joe Biden expressed his support for same sex marriage, the highest-ranking White House official to do so, on NBC's Meet the Press. And while he cited real life gay couples and families as an influencing factor, he used Will & Grace as a touchpoint claiming the show “probably did more to educate the American public than almost anything anybody’s ever done so far.”

How incredible that a show which premiered in 1998 and ended in 2006 is still making an impact on our lives today. Surprisingly, the show can still be counted on for laughs upon repeated viewing and if anything, it's the shows portrayal of gay men that may seem a little dated. I'd like to think there's bit more diversity in how we're represented in the media today, and we have shows like Will & Grace to thank for that. Whether you saw yourself in the characters or not, they helped open up people's minds which allowed many of us to feel more comfortable being out and proud.

Did Will & Grace have an impact on your gay life? If not, what show or movie helped you come to terms with your sexuality?

Fur the Love of Hair

I don't think I'll ever tire of looking at man with fur. Luckily, photographers and artists love the subject just as much as I do. FUR: The Love of Hair compiles dozens of iconic and original contemporary images, all exploring the endless delights of men’s hair. Featuring artist from Japan, Australia, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Canada, and the United States, the book takes a global approach to all things hirsute, including commentary and essays that examine and celebrate gay culture's interest in hair.

The book is already out in Europe and the rest of the world May 8. Click here for more info and purchasing.

If you could devote an entire coffee table book to one subject, what would it be?
